About this photograph :
Movement of grace
« Picture inspired by STEVE ROACH’s music. Taken at Biebrzanski National Park range, Poland. One of the wildest fen ranges in the whole of Europe. The swan creates and completes the atmosphere inspired by the music. It was not hard to do as this terrain is one of the biggest in Europe and home for hundreds of bird species. Mountains were added from another photo taken in Teton National Park to extend a dreamy fantasy atmosphere. Additional manipulation with colors, curves and hue.» MK
About the artist :
Michal
Karcz
Michal Karcz was born in 1977 in Warsaw, Poland. In 1997, he graduated from the High School of Art in Warsaw and then from Advertising School. It was at this time that his interest for photography grew. He therefore studied all the techniques: traditional, darkroom, negative developing, analogue printing… Most of his work is an imaginary journey to places which don’t exist, places which figure in his dreams, his desires and his imagination, worlds which he wants to explore but which are far away from here. Many artists inspire him through music and literature which are for him, the two most accurate means of expression for what he creates. He currently works successfully as a freelance photographer and graphic designer in his own studio.« Since the world exists I will not stop dreaming in my pictures. Never close your eyes on beauty. » MK
